I had an office in Chiswick, W London (pronounced Chisick);


in 2018. I was in a pub before a Brentford - the local team and now in the Prem - played a game.

As I drank a pint, a local came up and sat near me. He was the quintessential Brit. About 75, long swept back hair. Tweed jacket with a regimental tie.

He took a pull on his pint and said - So Yank, what do you think of your president.

I said - I don’t think much of him. What do you think?

He said - I think he’s a clown.

I said - I think you’ve got him nailed.

I worked in London and Oxford a lot of 2016 to 2020. The Brits would come up pretty much every time they heard my accent. They all wanted to talk about Don.

They could not stand him. They could not understand how he got elected.

Brits hate Trump. At least the ones I met.
