And for the record, I don’t view everything, or even most things, through the prism of race. On the other hand, you with your dreams of a homogenous country apparently do. You can tell yourself that’s not about race all you want but it’s obvious that’s what you mean, except apparently to you. Historically, Black people never shared your set of basic beliefs, experiences, history and patriotism/national pride. They just kept their mouths shut for fear of retribution. And MAGA is now working hard to repress their history.

As for the nation not being America without Americans, a quick Google search says about 87% of us were born here and another 6% are naturalized citizens - also Americans. I’d say with 93% of our population being true Americans we’re not in any danger of having our blood poisoned and losing our national identity. Your problem is you just don’t like that identity.
