Not like he very publicly asked Russia for help in ‘16, or like there isn’t a repub led senate intel report detailing collusion it saw between Trump campaign officials and Russia. I’m not saying you have to agree he should have been impeached, but for lord’s sake, Trump brings this scrutiny down on himself. He does a great job of making himself out to be a victim of forces beyond his control, and people buy it and vote for him because of it, but nobody forces him to say and do all the shit that brings this scrutiny.

The documents case in particular is a massive self inflicted wound. And yet it appears he’s unlikely to be tried before Election Day, because he enjoys every presumption of innocence and the best defense money can buy - that’s not victimization.

Biden is old and feeble and pulled a little too far left for my tastes. But he’s never called for the suspension of the constitution so he could be installed in power, he’s not trying to cede Ukraine to Putin (which is inviting Xi to take Taiwan), he’s never destroyed the peaceful transfer of power.

I have Trumpie friends who don’t see it my way, but to me, for all his flaws, Biden as the lesser evil couldn’t be clearer.
