LOL, I get all of that.

I dove into bourbon places that many have not gone. And when I was out in Cali doing the wine tasting, we went to Cakebread for one. They really did a great job explaining the whole process and the soil and vines, etc. And some of their wines were amazing, including a $250 or so bottle they let us try that wasn't on the tasting list but the group in front of us couldn't finish.

I was feeling myself heading toward that nerd area and was like, waitaminute...bourbon, scotch, brandy, are you insane?

I have bought a couple bottles of Prisoner Wines at $40-50. That's good stuff, I enjoyed their tasting as well. And I thought the Cakebread Merlot at $65-70 was amazing. Bought my sister and bro-in-law a bottle of it for their anniversary. But I am so not a wine nerd that I need to stay in my lane, lol. I shouldn't spend more than 50 on a bottle for myself.

I need to drink more Burgundy, though. I've had very little of it, even en France. I can't resist Bordeaux.
