Yeah, Hoo knows but it seems to me like Biden/Ds need to hold or improve


with non-college in all ethno categories as the top priority (but especially Latino) to stamp out Trump. And the image on the border over previous cycles is not locking things up with Latinos in a way they might have expected, and I wouldn't expect abortion to. Biden held up pretty well last time with white non-college iirc though and could still with everybody.

Gonna be close, if the D brand could broadly be function as "moderate" or "neutral" on these type of issues they'd be the dominant party imo and Trumpism would have no chance, but they can't (or really won't) for a lot of legit reasons, including that a big portion of the base (and money, infrastructure) prioritizes the more youth/upper-income social stances, and thus the overall brand is catered to that direction.
