First, that lack of enforcement is found at the local and state level, and
has little to nothing to do with cuts to the ATF.
Second, with an uber partisan, that's no stranger to being disingenuous on this issue like Sen. Murphy, is going to need to provide a bit more detail before I just accept his word that a 6% cut to ATF will "nullify existing firearm regulations" and "significantly rolls back the firearms background check system"
Now I will say that if he can show how this will indeed worsen the VA's sharing of mental health issues with the background check system, that is certainly not a good thing. I'll need a bit more information beyond his "could result" claim to take him at his word.
