Usually personal liability policies do not cover intentional acts.


And usually an umbrella policy wouldn’t be relevant for a $480k settlement as that would be below the umbrella threshold and would be covered by the underlying liability policy.

It’s probably an employer provided policy that covers work related wrongful acts.
