You don't know any of the circumstances around this. My default assumption
is that Wembley's story is bullshit. But if not, there's also such a thing as being born with intersex characteristics, and while it's not common, it's also not crazy rare (something like 1-2%... although to varying degrees). If a medical doctor recommends hormone treatment for an 8 year old born with an extra X chromosome to help the 8 year old live a more normal life, is that child abuse? Should it be banned?
Despite the bullshit from Maga news outlets, people aren't willy nilly giving their child hormones and having surgery performed on them. Thank god I haven't and to deal with any of this my kids, but I'm sure it's a gut wrenching situation for both parents and the child and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. And I certainly wouldn't want a bunch of MAGA do-gooder busybodies inserting themselves into the decision between my family and the medical team.... and even worse, doing it to score political points. most of these people don't give two shits about at the children... they're lying and creating an issue for political gain.
