Hopefully we'll see more of it in the near future. But, like gerrymandering, there is an entrenched group with an interest in preserving the status quo (which is clearly failing America at this point).

She also has sufficiently broad appeal- won one election (maybe 2010 or 2012) with a write-in campaign.
