I can’t even fathom the mindset of someone who would vote for trump, but I’m not struggling to make ends meet either. The last few years of the Trump debt binge (with a follow up assist from Biden) fueled inflation has been tough on a lot of families. Thankfully prices have mostly stabilized, but another leg up would not be good for Biden’s reelection bid. People might think, you know the guy who likes to quote Hitler to dehumanize fellow human beings and thinks the constitution should be terminated is not as bad as me struggling to make ends meet.
