Wile. E. Coyote getting crushed or blown up a hundred different ways. Bugs Bunny literally knocking Daffy Duck’s beak for a loop. Tom getting whacked on the head by Jerry. They also tended to have sort of a second tier of humor for adults that went over the kids’ heads. They’re way better in my view than the stuff my grandkids watch now. Apparently the violence is now considered inappropriate and the stuff they make for kids today is saccharine sweet, like Paw Patrol, and has no redeeming value whatsoever for adults, for whom they’re a form of torture.
