mandating more expensive renewables based on overstated claims, and passing that cost on to the consumers (and yes Waxie, that means hitting the poor harder). It's a hate for using tax dollars to prop up renewables, which if they were as wonderful and economically viable as claimed wouldn't need them. It's a hate for mandating energy sources that force us to be more dependent on out greatest geopolitical foe that dominate those sectors and the materials needed, especially after having spent decades watching "wars for oil" because of our dependence on the ME. It's a hate for mandating energy sources that aren't substantial and dependable enough to avoid rolling blackouts, in an environment where our energy demands will only grow, and we're shuttering green Nuclear plants, and much cleaner and more efficient Nat Gas facilities.

And the "glee" only comes from being shown the foolishness and impractical nature of this approach, in a hope that common sense prevail.
