Big gun family. They understand weapons and, by all accounts, they are responsible and understand the guns' capabilities. Totally sad scene. Last year, there were 43,000 people who died in the US from guns. Around 24,000 died from suicides and 19,000 from homicides. We obviously focus about other lives taken involuntarily but the easy access to guns makes suicide so easy to complete once that decision is made, whether it's a long thought-out process, or an impulsive act.
