Comfortable with current “anti-racist” approaches, which double down on focus on race, and all the things which divide us, and virtually mock the notion of “content of character instead of color of skin” (or gender identity, etc.), with “white fragility” labels. The right does not tolerate dissent in its ranks. Well, neither does much of the extreme left.

Even one totally ignorant of things like redlining can be legitimately disgusted by things like “race-only” grad ceremonies, which would have been an outrageous suggestion when I was a kid. I personally think many of the left’s approaches to anti-racism are wrong-headed, and potentially very destructive, and I certainly reject the idea that I’m fragile.

I recall this guy’s (Coleman Hughes) interview, where he talked about audiences claiming he made them feel “unsafe” because he disagrees with some of these approaches. Now, that’s fragility. People can’t handle dissent, particularly on our political extremes. Which are growing.
