Willis obviously needed to be removed based on any sense of legal ethics or credibility, but a removal would have 1) meant McAfee was going to get the leftist-street-animal-Brett Kavanaugh-treatment despite being a campaign contributor to and former underling of Willis herself and 2) every conviction from Willis' office in history would have been appealed due to her corruption, which would have been a total disaster for Fulton County.

The smart play for McAfee, especially for the sake of self-preservation, was to punt, so he did. Let the defendants take it up on appeal. He basically pulled the Comey/Hur tactic with the Clinton/Biden classified doc felonies in essentially declaring Willis and Wade guilty but refusing to do anything about it (other than kick Wade off the case). Par for the course.

Doesn't matter -- this fraudulent case is ultimately going nowhere but the trash bin.
