1). Politics/government is a fundamentalist religion for the left, so they are more passionate about it relative to the rest of us for whom, well, religion is religion.

2) Related to #1, leftists simply can’t mind their own business, whereas the rest of of just want to be left alone. The side that wants power over others is always going to win over the side that just wants to live and let live.

3) Based on the current regime, there is approximately a 0.0% chance that any lefty will ever face any consequences for rigging elections, as 2020 showed in spades. They know this, so there is no inhibition.
