You don’t understand. If you inherit a good


situation on a particular metric from your predecessor and it turns to shit on your watch, then when your successor, who inherits a shitty situation and improves it, as long as the average over your term is better, your performance is better. Nevermind the trajectory…. Or that you took a good situation and turned it to shit and your successor took the shitty situation you left for them and improved it.

This brilliance from the guy who doesn’t believe per capita metrics are important and thinks you can add percentage increases for multiple items to get an overall increase.
