It’s really simple


The border isn’t a crisis in my opinion. It’s made up playing on people’s fears. But it can be effective (see Trump in 2016 or Brexit).

That said, if you want to pretend it’s a crisis, which I don’t believe it is, it’s the GOP’s damn fault for not agreeing to a bipartisan bill. The reason they didn’t agree to the bill is because they are Trump’s bitch, and want to run on the fact they can pretend there’s a crisis and they don’t want Biden to get any credit for addressing their bullshit.
