You can be for tighter border control, and you can even be for very limited legal immigration (although I think that’s a dumb and shortsighted position and you can’t simultaneously be for that AND have a leg to stand on when complaining about inflation) but supporting the horrible, dehumanizing, in some cases Hitler-inspired rhetoric of Trump on immigration is just disgusting. Or “wholly appropriate” depending on the values your parents instilled in you.
