I get that schemes like cap and trade are just that and that there are groups that benefit from global warming however what I don't get is why this is a political issue. Willful ignorance allows you to continue wasting limited resources and pretend that humans aren't affecting our environment. You fools believe that there is a massive global conspiracy involving tens of thousands of scientists because < 10% of scientists disagree with the overwhelming empirical evidence supporting that humans are affecting climate. Most importantly, just look at who is funding the scientists and groups denying human's affects on climate.
