- she can't win the border issue, and
- its hard to beat Trump on the economy issue.

She can win the
- I'm not an old fart, who just might not make it 4 years, and who is showing signs of being unhinged issue
- the I'm not the person who showed up on the day the last election was supposed to be ratified in order to stir up a crowd to attack the Nation's Capital and put people's lives at risk, issue
- the every time I've won, since my first election, the rest of the party has lost seats in the senate, house, and governorship...issue
- oh...and there is I'm not a stooge for Russia issue
- I don't have a stack of top secret US documents out by the pool, that, when asked to give them back I refused time and time again, until they had to break down my door and come and get them issue.

But those don't seem to be at the top of the electorate's issues list this year.

Also, she's just not an enthusiastic candidate. I like her, she's not shrill like Harris for instance, but, too some extent, I'm not so sure normal 'mom like", works, especially when the other candidate is PT Barnum.
