Maybe he can appeal it on the grounds of presidential immunity and delay it

until The Don can get re-elected. He couldn't pardon him on state charges/convictions, but he could use Seal Team 6 to execute everyone in the Manhattan DA's office with impunity. It's worth a shot anyway, and I suspect the stacked SCOTUS will play ball.
