Wife's brother lives in a nice development outside of Greenwood, SC. A close friend of her brother is a nice gentleman of 84 years whose wife had passed away a couple of months ago and then he had to have a pacemaker implanted just a couple of weeks ago.

He had hired a small business guy to do some work of some sort and agreed on a price. The worker asked for payment, but some of the work was not yet completed so the offered a partial payment and said he would pay the rest when the work was complete. He had an envelope with cash in his hand, and the worker push him and he hit the back of his head. The worker kicked him in the head, beat him and then took all the cash ($3K) in the envelope and left. After he came to and was able to phone for help; he was in the hospital for a week and is now in rehab. The worker is in jail with no bail granted.
