A corrupt Dem judge collaborating with a corrupt Dem AG to say their political opponent lied -- in documents that 1) are loaded with disclaimers and 2) the bank said it didn't take at face value in any case -- proves nothing other than their own corruption. These lying dipshits think the tax assessment on MAL represents its value. Anyone in the business who's commented publicly on this case has said it's a complete sham. And that's because it is.

As an aside, how does one lie to an insurance company about the value of a property? I assume you are trying to claim that they lowballed the property value for insurance purposes, presumably to keep rates down. That is retarded. First off, insurance is optional, so why lie? Second, if you lowball the value, then you would have lowballed yourself out of your own coverage if you ever have a claim, as the coverage is based on property value. It makes no sense.

Moving on, there is no true "value" on Trump's properties. Their values are all highly speculative due to the vagaries of the assets themselves -- i.e., Trump's involvement, future use and development opportunity, their unique nature. No one can say what they are actually worth, and Trump can give his opinion and the bank can form their own opinion. That's how this works.

Finally, the bank in question did make a good decision in loaning money to Trump, so there was no "fool" here. Further, the alternative scenario is two-fold. If DB had charged a higher rate, then, yes, Trump could have shopped it out (and probably did, in any case). But HE ALSO COULD HAVE REFUSED THE LOAN ON ANY OTHER TERMS meaning DB would have made zero on the deal. This is why is so stupid to invent this hypothetical world where Trump has to disgorge profits based on some figment of the judge's imagination about what would have happened in his own fantasy world under his own hallucinatory alternative fact patter. In that world, there is no guarantee that there even would have been a loan.
