Yes, Goebbles idea has proven to be true, then and now.

This country passed a watershed in terms of fact vs fiction and basic human objectivity. I think it may have had its seeds when Trump put out the trial balloon of Obama’s nationality. He discovered that a portion of the country was primed by intellect, awareness, and morality to accept an alternate reality. That he was aided by numerous kinds of domestic media and the help of Russian disinformation made the job more complete and doable.
