If she took herself on a trip that would be one thing.

But it was a family trip. The kids got to go on a vacation like they’ve never had. They got new clothes.

This money wasn’t entirely wasted. I take my kids on trips. I find them valuable. Are poor people just supposed to suck it up and never travel? If this is the worst think the NY Post could dig up, then it seems like it wasn’t that bad of a program.

And as you said, the marginal propensity to spend was pretty damn high, so that money was put right back into the economy. It even took money from a blue state and sent it to a red state, so Republicans should love it.
