Yes, I think a state Supreme Court justice basing his opinion on what he thinks the Bible tells him to do, and voicing that opinion in religious language is really really outrageous. It’s also harmful to the residents of his state who may have been counting on IVF as their only way of becoming parents.
A preacher opining about whether a politician, or a law would be good or bad, for his congregation, is far less outrageous to me
