That is the crux of the matter.


If something benefits him personally, that is the only consideration and calculation. It doesn't matter if it involves Russia, Saudi Arabia, Christian Nationalists, militia types, crooked lawyers, it is all about what's in it for me? The country, the citizens of the country, his oath of office, the Constitution, the office of the presidency aren't even afterthoughts. Reason #1,002 as to why this asshole should never have gotten even a single vote for dog catcher in Queens.
