Don’t play dumb Balz. Biden lied about the nature of the question.

That’s what’s been known for 4 days according to the NBC report.

You are 100% defecting from the notion Biden didn’t lie. Questioning if I was in the room and then the honesty of the sources is textbook deflection. You don’t or can’t bring yourself to admit what is obvious so you do what people do in these cases. You back your guy unabashedly.

Look, Biden was embarrassed that he forgot the date, like I said is understandable in that setting and because people just forget things in the moment. Where he is wrong is blowing up at his news conference by trying to shift the narrative to how dare Hur ask such a question so as to not make himself look bad. It’s wrong but is politics 101. Using the lie to fundraise?, imagine the circle jerk around here if Trump had done that. Well he probably has at some point tbh.

You’re not going to believe Biden is in the wrong here until/if the transcript is released. If Biden didn’t lie I will admit it but that doesn’t change the fact that this has nothing to do with empathy and only politics. That was my point to house. So I don’t see the need to hash this out anymore.
