A willingness to believe conspiracy junk is deeply ingrained in human

nature. This is just a part of how humans think. What is light years different in the world today compared to all previous time is the speed and methods through which we communicate and absorb information into our brains now -- exacerbating the worst of all of this. It seems depressingly inevitable we are going to see societies crack apart based on the road we are all on as there really doesn't seem to be the will or ability to try and address some root concerns.
