That he’s free to commit murder while president (as long as he has enough sycophants in Congress to avoid impeachment and conviction), and you will see the Supreme Court uphold the appeals court.

Trump’s record in his SC appeals will be 1-1. He will not be removed from ballots. He will not be declared above the law while serving as president. And I think the federal case will move forward prior to the election (although might not be complete, so possible he’ll be able to kill it if elected).

The founders absolutely intended for the judiciary to arbitrate disputes like this, so, no, the founders aren’t crying out loud. They will if the SC rules for Trump here, but they won’t. And from the pattern so far, I don’t think the DC trial judge will care if the trial conflicts with the convention. The Trump legal team is trying to delay, as is their job as the defense team, but that conflict is the risk they’re running.

The judge was not at all sympathetic to cries of conflict with Super Tuesday.
