Went to some comedy shows overseas a few years ago (at Edinburgh Fringe). Comics doing 'Where are you from' crowd work always went to mass shooting when somebody said America.

Wherever somebody stands on the issue, the argument is effectively moot at this point. We had Sandy Hook and you would have to squint to find any policy changes after that. Thoughts and prayers for everybody.
