All Eisen did was restate Smith’s argument and…


…make the further and obvious point that Smith is going to try to have Cannon removed. We’ve known this from day one.

Smith’s argument — reiterated by Eisen — is refuted by Cannon. Eisen’s comments about Smith’s intentions are self-evident: Smith knows he can’t prosecute a case without a judge in his back pocket. Thus, he needs to get rid of Cannon and install such a judge.
