if you read McDonald's earnings report, you would have seen that they essentially took pricing up too far and they're now experiencing consumer backlash (i.e., softness in demand from certain segments of the population). Likely bringing back the dollar menu or something similar. Management had also said in previous earnings releases that pricing was a lever they were going to pull pretty hard for top-line growth.

But I'm not sure why you're blaming Joe Biden for McDonalds pricing practices. And I always thought it was going to harder to tame inflation than others thought it might be. Which corporation to you expect to tell the street that they're reducing prices and taking in less revenue because factor rates are down, though earnings should be the same? I'm guessing very few.
