As the reader ponders our latest Hoo Said It, we zoom in on Nikki Said It -


Last Wednesday
"If that whole state says (on secession), 'We don't want to be part of America anymore,' I mean, that's their decision to make," Haley said.

Haley said that "states have the right to make the decisions that their people want to make."

"I believe in states' rights"

Then Sunday Nikki said -
“Texas has talked about seceding for a long time. The Constitution doesn't allow for that. According to the Constitution, they can't". Haley said after being pressed by CNN's Dana Bash on "State of the Union."

Evermore confused her own thoughts, Nikki tried on Sunday to explain not what she said four days earlier, but what she said fourteen years earlier

Haley, on past comments in 2010.

“During the time when I was a tea party candidate, states were very upset about government control. And Texas had wanted to secede from the union,” she said. “And what I said is when government stops listening, let's remember states rights matter.”
