I mean, peace with Egypt emerged from the ‘73 war, eventually. I think this is different. More like trying to get combatants in a decades long, brutal civil war to lay down their arms. Hatred between the two sides is deeply ingrained and incredibly intense. I think there are far fewer Palestinians and Israelis who want a 1 or 2 state solution than on Oct 6.

Maybe that worm will turn at some point, but I don’t know that there’s a generational answer. If it does, it’ll be along some path nobody can see right now imo.
