Nomination. I don’t know if that’s true, but yeah, I think the fear is grounded in history. When incumbents face serious primary challenges, they lose in the genl election. Maybe this year would be different, but I think that’s the fear. I think it could be a blessing in disguise if Joe decided one term was enough because of the Hunter/family issues, but it’s almost too late for that.

If Trump doesn’t meet expectations tonight, and Haley exceeds them, my interest might be piqued. If it goes as current polling projects, not so much. I’d bet it will be over by SC, if not NH. Then, I think we’re almost locked into a Trump/Biden rematch. I don’t think Biden’s likely to die between now and then, and I don’t think anything will keep Trump off ballots.
