by the thousands when that city has no federal infrastructure to deal with them? If sending them to those cities to ease the burden on border states is going to be part of the solution I have no objection to that in principle, but the Republicans must support federal funding and infrastructure in those cities to deal with it, and also let the feds handle the logistics of transporting them. Of course there needs to be more funding and infrastructure in the border states too. We need to revisit our asylum laws as well. But Republicans don’t want to fix immigration. They want to use the problem as a political weapon. Hence their inhumane, pandering stunts.
