Did I push back on some of the Goldman guys ... yes. However, it's tough when they have far more internal information than I do. To be fair, they weren't as negative as the article from Jamie Dimon and were uncertain about 2024.
So yes, IMO ... I'm more inclined to a softer landing like you than what Dimon is forecasting. However, that's just for 2024. The issue is that there are far more moving parts than just near term inflation and employment numbers. There's a lot of uncertainty in the markets. It's not just normal market volatility.
Remember, this is an election year. Things can get a bit skewed epecially when it comes to flow. The next 2 years will be interesting.
