I mean, there’s still a core of repubs with vestiges of genuine conservatism, who support aid to Ukraine to stop the ambitions of global autocrats before they engulf us and the rest of the world. In the nuanced thinking of which those outside Trumpistan are capable, that’s actually anti-war. Ukraine’s fighting because it wants to be free of Russian dominance, not because we’re coaxing them into it with aid. So, stopping Putin short of his goals to make the Soviet Union great again is an anti-war stance. It’s an effort to prevent a war against China making itself great again.
