It is an interesting question, and there may be different answers if one


were to focus on the short-term versus the longer.

Renewables will be economically viable at some point. The questions on my mind are who will capture the value, whether there is strategic value in taking certain policy positions now (or later) and what role we want our public and private sectors to play globally.

All fair points for debate, but I don't think that's what JM is getting at (but I can't say I'm entirely sure what his angle is either, he's a weird dude).
