Yet, Dems do both, as you can see in this very thread.

The funny thing to me about the Dems' hypocrisy on Clinton and Me Too is that it totally innoculated Trump against the Me Too charges lobbed at him. After having seen the Dems and media (BIRM) support Clinton throughout that saga, their crocodile tears over Trump's alleged transgressions fell on deaf ears.

Clinton and his supporters managed to lower the bar permanently for presidential conduct -- an outcome predicted at the time by those who believed he should have been impeached. Fate works in mysterious ways.
