Okay so I looked it up. It turns out some people believe onions are good

as a remedy for tear gas. So if you are going to a Revolution and expect to be tear gassed by the cops, you might bring an onion if you believe in pseudo science internet remedies.

Even this dumb conspiracy turns out to hurt the case of MAGA, as if it was an onion, it’s because she (or the person she got it from) was expecting a fight with the cops.
