Ah, ok. That's actually not a bad argument. What I find interesting are the


implications. What if more than one state ruled that? What if Trump still won? It wouldn't make much difference that I can see. He would still have a majority of EVs.

But it's a fascinating question for SCOTUS to consider, particularly if enough state courts barred him from the ballot. Add this to the immunity question Jack Smith has put before the Court. This is going to force a discussion of state election authority, state laws, the meaning of the 14th amendment and the power of the presidency. It's a discussion this country needs to have.
