I guess it depends on your definition of winners and losers.


State ranking based on median household income:
Top 10 states: All democratic
Bottom 10 states: 9 of 10 states republican

State rankings based on percent of population with college education:
Top 10 States: All Democratic
Botton 10 States: 8 of 10 Republican

State rankings based on Life expectancy:
Top 10 states: 9 of 10 democratic
Bottom 10 states All republican

States ranked based on healthcare
Top 10 States: 9 of 10 democratic
Bottom 10 states: all republican

States ranked based on violent crime rate (obviously the order is flipped with top states being bad and bottom states being good)
Top 10 states: 7 GOP, 2 Democratic + Arizona
Bottom 10 states: 8 Democratic / 2 GOP
