Investigating that kind of thing is fine. Declaring that you’ve found

evidence of quid pro quos by Joe when you have not isn’t fine, and that’s what shamelessly lying Jim Comer and his MAGA posse have been doing. They always refer to the “Biden family,” not Joe Biden because they have no evidence to do so but in MAGAstan none is needed. The baseless implications are enough to convince the cult. And at some point it morphs from an investigation into an ongoing stage show, red meat for the cult faithful.

Actual investigations are concluded when they continually reach dead ends (in this case on Joe, not Hunter). But no, not this one. They’re pretending they have enough to open an impeachment inquiry when they know it would be DOA in the Senate. It’s strictly an act of revenge. They have no honor. But they need a continual supply of red meat for the base. Whether it’s true or not is of no interest to them.
