economy sucks" crowd than the potential to convert voters that attend a redneck parade. We know how these people will vote, but there are plenty of others in similar situations that don't drive monster trucks. That think about their own purchasing power every time they look at the price of something.

I was listening to someone on NPR earlier talking about how wages have increased at a higher rate than prices over the last few years, so consumers' dollar should go further. But I don't think the average consumer has been convinced of that. Clearly higher wages also contribute to higher prices.

EDIT: right after I hit send on this one, I saw that the money honey herself said on Fox News this AM that the numbers on the economy are looking good (and Joe Lavorgna agreed - on air). Hell has indeed frozen over (I'm guessing the next segment was about violence in Chicago). Something from Vanity Fair linked - I wouldn't call it an "article".
