The judge rejected the plea deal because it made her responsible for
monitoring Hunter’s compliance with the terms, a very unusual proposal that was unacceptable to her. How was that “corrupt” on anyone’s part? Are you laughably suggesting that Special Counsel Weiss fashioned a plea deal he knew would be rejected so he could then go on to seek more serious indictments against Hunter, and that was “corrupt” in favor of Hunter? Do you not understand that the rejection of the “corrupt” plea deal landed Hunter in even more hot water than he was in at first? How was that corrupt? Are you also aware that NOBODY has EVER been prosecuted for lying on a gun application about drug use when the circumstances were the same as Hunter’s? Namely…
- No prior criminal record
- Only one gun
- No crime committed with the gun
Nobody ever. You really should do your homework before posting here instead of always mouthing off based on zero relevant information.
