From this morning’s news. We have a 17 year old shot in Suffolk and an adult arrested. A 17 year old shot to death in Ahoskie. A 17 year old shot to death in Hampton while he’s at work at a Rally’s trying to make a little money. A 5 year old shooting himself in Va Beach. What’s the solution? It must be more guns? Clearly the age to purchase and carry a firearm is too high! Is 17 low enough? Do we need to mandate that all private employers issue firearms to juvenile employees? What about 5 year olds? Is that too young to own a gun and receive handgun training? We must do more. There simply are not enough guns to go around!
