do you mean he could have taken authoritarian actions and justified them because of COVID? That’s your argument that Trump doesn’t have authoritarian ambitions? What would those actions have been? Trump just wanted COVID to go away so he could be re-elected. He seems at least smart enough to understand he can’t just declare himself dictator because of a disease.
